Gum Shoe solve a &quot;who dunnit&quot; mystery set in 1930. Back by popular demand, the evening performance of this tongue-in-cheek mystery will be a dinner and a mystery themed event. The dinner consists of a three-course meal of salad, pasta and dessert. The action unfolds around the guests, who will interact with colorful characters to collect clues and help solve the mystery. </p> <p class="style20"><em>* 7 pm. Age groups will give all children a fair opportunity to find the hidden eggs and earn prizes. </p> <p class="style20"><em>* 2 pm. Admission is $1 per vehicle. * Registration is required. Other activities include pie eating contest, watermelon seed spitting contest and more! </p> <p class="style20"><em>* 10 am - 8 pm : Free Admission - Free Lunch.&nbsp; </em></p> <p dir="ltr" style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px" class="style5">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr" style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px" class="style5"> <img alt="" src="imgC.gif" width="450" height="42"></p> <p class="style22"><strong>13 : Wilderness Road Heritage Festival</strong></p> <p class="style12">&nbsp;&nbsp; Join us as we celebrate Southwest Virgina&#39;s heritage with handmade Appalachian Crafts, Bluegrass music, entertaining children&#39;s activities and good ol&#39; fashioned food highlighting this unique fall festival. The event takes place on the lawn of the beautiful Karlan Mansion, which will be open for tours and features a museum and tasteful Victorian theme. </p> <p class="style20"><em>* 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Admission is $5 per adult, $1 per child (ages 6-12). </em></p> <p dir="ltr" style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px" class="style5">&nbsp;</p> <p class="style22"><strong>26-27 : Pumpkins in the Park .... featuring the Haunted Trail Hayride</strong></p> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Join us for two exciting nights of fun and fright highlighted by the wildly popular Haunted Trail Hayride. The 30-minute spine-tingling journey features dramatic and spooky scenes, along with a few surprises in between, that are sure to generate screams of delight. Other activities (Saturday only) include: pumpkin painting, face painting, storytelling, costume contests, music and a community-based Trunk-or-Treat where children can enjoy an old-fashioned Halloween atmosphere, in a safe environment. <br> <em>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * Friday - 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Children ages 10 and under can have their picture taken with the jolly-old-elf, receive a small gift and enjoy light refreshments, such as cookies and hot chocolate. Area church choirs will provide live music with a special tree lighting service to be conducted.
